Grant Michael Gallagher
September 21, 1990 - November 18, 2006

COLUMBIA - Funeral Mass for Grant Michael Gallagher, 16, will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo.
Grant died Saturday, November 18, 2006. Born in Atlanta, Ga., he was a son of Gerald Thomas Gallagher and Kimberly Susan Gallagher. He was a sophomore at Dutch Fork High School where he was a member of the Guitar Club and former member of the wrestling team, as well as track and field. Artistic and creative, he was an incredibly talented musician and writer, playing the guitar, trumpet, drums, bass, and piano, and composing his own music. He loved life and possessed a great sense of humor. He loved and respected everyone he ever met, and always avoided conflict with laughter. His aim was always to inspire passion and laughter in others, never to compete or humble.
Grant was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are his parents of Columbia and brother, Gerald William Gallagher. Grant is also survived by numerous extended family in California, Texas, and Arizona. He will be dearly, dearly missed.
